Lionshare Farm maintains an accomplished team of trainers to guide the development of its riders and horses both at home and on the horse show circuit. The Lionshare Farm trainers develop personalized training programs and goals for each horse and rider to consistently keep them in the ribbons at all the major A-circuit shows on the east coast and beyond. The Lionshare training team is prepared to give both horse and rider a rewarding riding experience.
Mike Henaghan
Senior Trainer
Renowned horseman Mike Henaghan brings to Lionshare Farm a wealth of experience. Mike has trained many of the greatest riders in competition today such as Beezie Madden, Greg Best, Ray Texel, and Alison Firestone just to name a few. He has trained horses and riders in competitions on the East and West Coast, as well as in Europe, as well as in every facet of the sport: hunters, jumpers and equitation. Mike's innate ability to teach every level of riding with the same precision and zeal makes him a prized member of the Lionshare training team.Elizabeth Pandich
Trainer/Rider
Elizabeth started riding at age six in Westchester County. Throughout her junior career she had the opportunity to ride horses with such accomplished trainers as Andre Dignelli and Kip Rosenthal. She also kept and cared for horses on her parents property for several years learning all aspects of horsemanship. While attending Cornell University, she successfully competed in the Adult Jumpers and then the Amateur Owner Jumpers with her horse Kaiser. A high point of her Amateur career was placing 2nd in the NAL Adult Jumper Finals at Harrisburg.
Upon graduating Cornell with a B.A. in Communications, she embarked on her professional riding career. While riding for legendary horsewoman Carol Molony, she qualified, competed and placed at Harrisburg and Devon in the professional hunter divisions. As a trainer she has brought riders to indoors and Devon, collecting ribbons along the way.

Barn Manager
Lenore Brown brings a lifetime of experience to her role of barn manager at Lionshare Farm. "We're thrilled to have Lenore as part of the Lionshare family," said Farm owner Peter Leone. "She brings with her a deep knowledge of the industry and the community we serve, along with a dedication to the horses that is second to none.
A graduate of Hood College with a major in Art History and History, Lenore has ridden and worked with many of the countrys leading trainers including Leslie Burr Howard and Marilyn Little Meredith and has traveled to many of the nations top horse shows including the Winter Equestrian Festival, Spruce Meadows, and Devon where she has both competed and managed the care of several top show jumpers. She started riding before she could walk at her familys own Last Laugh Farm in Harrisburg, PA, a sport horse breeding facility.
